I don't dream, or at least I don't remember them if I do, so this episode I had 5 nights ago really spooked me. It was like it was actually happening in the physical sense it felt that real.

I was in this house, which I have been in before (but I haven't physically), just felt like I knew this place. I went into one of the bedrooms, it felt like it was my youngest son's, and immediately felt a wrongness in it. The next thing I remember is being on the bed fighting to stop being pulled off it by something, there was nothing to see I was just being dragged to the edge of the bed.

The next thing I remember is that I was pinned, like someone/thing had taped me to the bed and I was fighting to get free, but could hardly move, I vaguely remember saying (screaming) get away, you aren't welcome here and the final thing I remember is this feeling of a very long finger nail being pushed into my temple and I woke up before it cut me.

When I woke up I had the physical pain of this nail in my right temple and remember thinking I should write this down, as I said before I don't remember any dreams, but fell back asleep. I had no other dreams after that and because I fell back to sleep almost straight away I didn't check to see if I had any marks on my temple.

I am now wondering if this was a dream or something else entirely. Would be interested in hearing what you guys have to say about this.

Don't know if this is connected but the night of the dream an elderly lady I have known for about 5 years passed away, another elderly lady I knew died the night before the dream and the day after the dream I found out a third elderly lady I knew very well passed away also.

Let's start off with being in a place that in reality you have never been to before but in your dream you had... It seems like something in your life is going on that seems familiar to you, whether it be an old familiar feeling, a person who has entered your life that bring that old familiar feeling back again it's something that you have 'been there done that' type of feeling or maybe even a feeling of comfort. A message for you: Just because the feeling is familiar does not necessarily mean the outcome will be the same.

Then you are in your son's room and you don't feel like you should be in there which would tell me something is going on where you know *feel* you probably shouldn't be doing something, or probably should avoid something (that doesn't necessarily mean you *should*) but I am going to go with you yourself are questioning your own judgment and my instinct tells me to tell you to go for it. Take the plunge and find out at whatever it is you feel you probably shouldn't do.

An invisible presence is trying to pull you off the bed, then you are actually pinned there, helpless, writhing to get free means whatever it is that you feel you shouldn't be doing has you feeling cornered, caged, or like you feel you are between a rock and a hard place. It then presses it's nail against your temple and I am going to go with it has to do with the temple of your mind and spirit. You are not at rest with something. The fact that it caused you pain I would imagine represents there is some anxiety about something specific in your life.

Why do I get the impression this has to do with protecting your heart or someone that is your own heart (a child?)? In addition, through trying to decipher your dream I see motorcycles around you...

Another message... and these messages have nothing to do with dream interpretation, they're just coming through on their own is you have to let them make their own mistakes. You can't protect them from everything. They will never learn if you do. You've given them the tools, now give them the chance to exercise them.

I have read what you have said a couple of times and you are right. I got goose bumps when I read it and a feeling of something snapping into place.

Someone has come into my life in the last 3 weeks and he has wormed his way into my heart, I feel like I have known him all my life and am so content and comfortable with him. Unfortunately there is a complication which although I know the whole of it, or assume I do as I trust I have been told the truth, it is not like me to even contemplate things going further because of the complications but I also want to. I have not been this happy with anyone since early in my marriage, which lasted 15yrs, but am anxious about whether that is good enough reason to go ahead and see what happens.

You have the impression of protecting my heart because that is what is at stake here.

For the last part, about motorcycles and giving them the tools again you are spot on. I ride motorbikes as do my ex husband and my middle son. This part is a bit of a worry as my son has already trashed 3 bikes, one being mine, and narrowly escaped serious injury. I will ask for guidance in regards to allowing them to make their own mistakes as I am very protective of my kids but do try to let them live their own lives, is very hard when your young tend to lean toward injury etc lol.
