It's a short and sweet dream and it suggests that something is haunting you, not in the sense of ghosts. But possibly doubts or trust, perhaps something you can't let go of that happened in the past or it could signify someone else's doubt, trust or something they cannot let go of or are not yet ready. If it is not you that has doubts or trusts, etc.. it does not necessarily mean it's your boyfriend... he could just be decoration in the dream representing someone or something else like a friend, a job, an up coming event. It does not necessarily mean it directly deals with him. Whatever it is, your subconscious is pestering you something is off balance.. and you are aware of it to some degree, perhaps fully aware.
