The other night I had a dream which has been stuck in my head ever since, and I can remember all the details perfectly.
Anyways, it started out with me standing on an enormous patch of land. It was all just a bunch of low hills and grass, it was so green, and the land was so enormous that that's all that you could see for miles. There was a distinct very wide path in the grass, sort of looked like a big lawnmower had gone through it and made a perfect path all over the hills. It looked like something you'd see in Alice in Wonderland. It didn't really look like any particular scene from Alice in Wonderland, but the atmosphere was the same. Not sure if that makes sense or not.
Anyways, I'd only been standing there for a few seconds before I started running down the path, and I could feel the fresh air against my face, and I felt the freedom, and the better I felt the faster I ran. I just kept running and running along the never-ending path, and I was running so fast, sort of like a horse. Then suddenly another person came running up behind me, and suddenly we were having a race along this path, but I was faster than she was.
All of a sudden I felt my legs sort of coming together like a magnet force. I realised that the faster I ran, the more my legs would stick together, and once I started to slow down my legs started coming apart. I got distracted by this and was too concentrated on pulling my legs apart while running faster to realise the other person ran ahead past me.
The path came to an end, it stopped at a big fairy-tale castle. We stopped there for a few seconds, then the race was back on and once again I was in the lead. And then I got distracted by the magnet force in my legs again! I just couldn't pull them apart when I was running so fast, so I slowed down to pull them apart and once again the other person caught up and ran ahead of me.
When someone is having a race just for fun's sake, of course they want to win, but there's no big urge to win and it's not a big deal if you don't win. That's how I felt, and other than the "wanting to win" feeling and the frustration of my legs sticking together, running through this mass of hills was one of the best feelings I've ever had, and it felt so real! I can remember all the physical and emotional sensations I had in that dream.
So, what's this dream mean?
Sorry for the massive novel, I have a habit of putting a lot of detail into what I say
