There is a dream that I had when I was around 8 years old that I have still not figured out what it could have meant, if anything. It was very creepy in feel, to the point where it just made your skin want to crawl.

I was an adult in the dream and had been called to this foreign country, I don't know which, to study the phenomena going on there. It must have been a smaller island, because I couldn't take a plane except to the nearest land mass and was then taken over by canoe to the place in question.

The boatman on the way told me that things just weren't right there -that the children were giving birth to children and developping abnormally. He wouldn't give any details and I was on my own once I reached the shore.

I wandered from house to house and, sure enough, it was bizarre. What appeared to be 2.5-3 ft tall toddlers with the features of children around two to three years old were walking around in adult clothes (albeit the appropriate sizes) and some of the "men" were smoking cigars, others carrying guns. One of the "women" was giving birth...to a nearly average sized baby.

Deciding I'd had enough of that wierdness, I wandered away from the village area and came accross a wooden structure that was like raised lattice work except that it was beams...9 beams by 9 beams, crisscrossed to form a lofty grid atop a pole at every corner. What freaked me out, wasn't the gridwork, but what was hanging from each of the 81 intersections of the wood. Cats. Black Cats. The poor things had been hung up, nailed through their tails and left to die. Which they did in unison after a horrid sounding screech. (note that I have never had the superstition of thinking black cats bad luck. In fact, I have always preferred them and found them to be more intelligent.) I ran after that.

(by now I think the symbolic part of the dream ended and it merged into a dream of pure ridiculousness, but I'll let you all be the judge)
I came onto a courtyard where two dogs, little furry curly-haired (seemingly half-breed poodle mixes) skated (and I mean roller-skated) down the path...holding hands. They were also wearing clothes and helmets, as well as appropriate padding.  hence me figuring that the part of the dream that actually meant anything had ended.

That's it...so...any clues?

It´s seams to be a very hard dream. I think that ou have to choose something, and you´re maybe scared for that. Cats can means home, because cats is home animals. Have you think about moving or something like that? Some friend going to help you or console you. Take their help...you realy need it.

I am given that this dream is a very interesting past experience, a memory that has been translated into a language in which we here on earth can understand on the physical plane.  
You had been assigned the study of a strange and unusual place.  A place of interest,  a phenomena, a place to study. (Earth)
The description of the crossing over, I find quite beautiful.  You could not travel here in spirit (by air); you had to pass by water (birth).  The deliverer (you) tells you that things are not right there.  Children giving birth to children.  (the young souls are in charge of other young souls and that this was impeding their development).  You have been left to study alone and see for yourself that the children are misbehaved.  Smoking and carrying guns. (Killing others and killing (poisoning)themselves) as they continue to give birth to more children to do the same.  Finally deciding on your own to leave this uncomfortable, crazy place you come upon 9… 9…  18 (8+1=9) (cats/9 lives) ( the number that signifies the end before the new beginning) and there hung that which you believe the more intelligent it was the first thing that frightened you when all that you had seen before only disgusted you.
What this may mean to you I do not know but, that which has come to me tells me that you are an old soul with many past lives.  So many past lives signify the inability to accept a certain lesson.  The fact that you are still denied the ability of traveling here simple by will/spirit and must be born is only one sign.  Your hatred as well as your understanding of what is going on here is another sign.  (They/you) ( were/are)  determined to make it this time.  To graduate rather.  Thus the reason for the impact of this dream at such a young age.  Now the interest in the occult.  Never forget this dream.  Find out what it is that your soul is to learn so that you don’t have to return.  These things are very important.  DO NOT GIVE UP ON THIS PLACE, THIS PHENOMENA… YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR MISSION TO STUDY…
Black cats are not bad luck they are symbols of that which is mysterious, hidden, intriguing… that which you are attracted to but there must be balance, an understanding of both the hidden and that which seems to be the norm for it, in reality, is spiritual too.
