Three days back, I had a strange dream !!!


"I am in a house which I used to live some 14 years back. The front and rear door of the house are closed. I am with a 2 years old kid (Boy - who is son of my brother's current neighbour). The windows are partially closed. Suddenly I hear a Loud growling of Lion. I thought some Animal must have escaped from the zoo or from near by Jungle might have come into area. So I went to front window and find that 2-3 Lions and Lionesses are moving just next to front door. Then I went to rear gate and I find the same, again 2-3 Lions and Lionesses on the rear side just in front of the gate. Now I try to see theough the side way's windows again I find 2-3 Lions and Lionesses on that side. Now suddenly a woman (Boy's mother - who is my brother's current neighbour) screams from out side at the Lions and throws stones on them but the Lions only growl, they are not interested in attacking or killing the woman. So I feel worried what the Lions want? They are neither trying to attack on the House !!! Suddenly from some where, my elder sister comes to rescue us with heated oil in a pot and opens the front door and throws the oil on tiles on which Lions are walking and closes it partially to see what happens next. The Lions jump for a while due to burns on their palms but again they continue to move around the House !!!"

The Dream ended here.

Can someone one explain this? I am not sure about their (Lion's) act !!! Whether they are just moving? or Guarding the House? or something else? The Lions are moving in exactly opposite directions like security guards !!! There is always crossing of 2-3 Lions on each side.

My elder sister who came into this Dream to rescue us says that, wild animals around you means some trouble is indicated !!!

But personally I don't feel so. Because in Dream also I was quite cool !!!

I reaquest people of the Forum to explain this !!!

How nice to have a visit from lions who were there to serve and protect you! Not everything is textbook, in fact it's rare it is textbook because the symbology is based solely on how the dreamer perceives what's happening and the objects they place emphasis on.

I'd say this is a very good dream for you. To most people, lions can be intimidating, frightening and predatory. None of these lions according to your feelings towards these animals reflect that. What you do say is you weren't threatened by them.

For some lions represent grace, stealth, majesty, courage and strength. The dream suggests one, some of or all of those feelings: grace, stealth, majesty, courage and strength. You had a pride of lions surrounding your house which would be indicative of protection, and safety.

The dream means these characteristics are developing within you or you are being asked to exercise the strengths above such as courage and strength.

I think you are quite right. Even I feel same, that this is time of transition in my life and same is symbolised some how in the Dream !!!

Whenever I dream about lions they always signify a problem that I have, usually one I'm not addressing.
For me and what I was taught it goes mice,rats, lions, tigers, smaller the problem smaller the animal abd it's usually right - for me anyway (unless I ignore most problems).

I agree with Angelique. To see lion(s) in dreams is a good sign, at least for me but if only they don't pose any threat to me.
