Hi Chris-
Yes it is possible to recall dreams hours, days and years later. I have found that it usually takes something to happen that sets me off and recall it.
Hope whatever it is that is going on works itself out.

One of the best ways to remember more is to make sure you get enough sleep. If you don't get enough sleep your sleep is deeper, and it's harder to remember dreams. Another important aspect of dream recall is to give yourself time; when you wake up, just lie there for a few minutes and it's easier to remember.
