I had this dream a few nights ago.

Basically, it begun in a courtyard, or large open area. I was with friends. All of a sudden a bush to my left went a flame and I associated it with the burning bush of the story of Moses. Since I made this association, I felt it had a message to give me so I began to approach it. But as I got closer I felt a sense of foreboding as if I would be punished, hurt or sacrificed for accepting this message. I decided to anyways after hesitation and I was immediately pulled into the air, across the sky, and dropped into the middle of the ocean where I plummeted further and further down towards the bottom. As this happened, I simply accepted my fate and closed my eyes, hoping that my death would come quickly, but at what seemed like the last moment I was lifted out of the sky and placed into a room where I saw a politician I have a deal of respect for get shot.

I have no idea what this means. It has really been bothering me.

It sounds to me like you have an idea that you want to publicize whether it be amongst your friends or business associates  and you think it's a good idea but you don't know how to go about it and are afraid of looking foolish or having the idea shot down. Whatever it is, visualize it, gather the facts to back you, how it could be beneficial and don't forget to look at the things that could possibly go wrong and take a proactive approach towards it and have a back up plan to cover it. Then take the bold step of making your suggestion, showing you have done the homework and all bases have been covered to show you gave it a lot of thought which will give you confidence that people will take you seriously with your suggestion or idea.
