I wonder if anyone can help me to understand this. Several years ago I had a dream about my brother being involved in a car accident. The dream was extremely vivid and well detailed, right down to the street sign and the cause of the accident.  When I awoke, I was in tears because in my dream my brother was killed. Not even a half hour after telling my mom about my dream and her reassuring me that it was "just a dream", my brother called to tell my mom about the accident he was in the night before. My mom, of course, was a bit freaked out and told him to talk to me. I told him about my dream and he confirmed that everything I dreamed actually happened, from the street it happened on to the cause. The only difference was the outcome.

How did I dream of his accident and why was the outcome different from dream to reality?  I would greatly appreciate anyone's insight into this and I do thank you in advance.

Sometimes our precognitive dreams are just as symbolic as a normal dream. In other words, it's conveying information to you the best way your brain knows how to take it. It sounds like you had foreseen the accident in your dream, although it was not exact, but the message was loud and clear. Perhaps what you were witnessing was so unbearable that it's quite possible your mind took over and gave you the worst outcome because maybe the car wreck you saw was something you would expect.  Thankfully this was not the case.

I can't give you a more direct answer as to the why's as much as I can the how's and there are many how's. You definitely have a talent and perhaps even during your waking hours you have this talent.

I appreciate you giving me as much as you have. I think this is just one of those things where I'll never really know.  I have not had another dream like that since, so I'm not sure if I have a talent or not.  I was told once by a medium that I had a gift, but I have yet to see anything (other then this dream) that would substantiate her claim.  Thank you for responding
