My dream, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Okay, well here we go. For my first question here you go.
I had a dream like 2 nights ago and it went like this.

I was in a room solid black, but I could still see. There were two entities there, one male one female, I don't know if they were lovers or brother and sister, but they were one of the two. Well they were pure evil they would kill for fun, and steal spiritual energy and such, a preistest pure of heart, cast them together in a stone, and the stone because pure instead of evil.

I have no Idea what it means.

With due respect your dream sounds very much to me like a parable or fable, straight out of either Greek or Roman mythology (more about this below). ***

Evil attracts more evil. Two wrongs do not make a right. To turn something to stone is to immobilise, neutralise it's destructive effects, or as in this case to purify or remove the source of the evil, once and for all.

Honestly I doubt very much that the two evil opposites were either brother and sister or lovers, at least in the physical sense. Souls and not only human beings are believed to be androgynous - they have both male and female characteristics at the same time.

Since a priest's main function is for our spiritual welfare and safety, turning the twin opposite evils to stone would perhaps be regarded as a symbolic act of a similar cleansing of the human condition. It is also I believe an admission that what is thought to be evil is both highly subjective (depends largely on your personal point of view), and that the potential for unspeakable evil as well as limitless good lurks in the heart of every man and woman.

*** PS: Included in the mythology of many cultures are stories where people, including a brother or sister who were committing incest or men and women who were having other what were judged as unwholesome sexual relationships with each other, were turned into stone by their angry God as a sign of his distinct displeasure that his teachings on this matter were not being either respected or obeyed.

Unfortunately I feel that these stories do not have any relevance to your own situation (and consequently will not assist you to better understand the possible meanings behind your dream), so please do not take offence at what they might be seen as suggesting. No offence was intended.

I simply added this as an interesting footnote, and only for the sake of completion.
