This is kinda long, but please bare with me.

I had this dream a couple days ago. I was outside of a house during winter. It was dark and there was only one house with the front light on, which looked awfully familiar. So I go up to the house, knock on the door, and it opens on it's own. My Grandma is inside, and beckons me, but my Dad and brother also enter in the way I came. My grandma then goes to the other room and I go to the living area and there is my Granddad sitting on the couch, alive and kicking! He's been dead for almost 3 years now. I look at the calendar on the wall and it says 1988! I wasn't born until 1990 and my brother until 1992. And we were there in our current selves.

But my Granddad beckons me and asks me to sit, as I do so, my brother and dad come in and sit down on a couch opposite to me. As my Granddad reads his Bible, the room grows dark and everything stops. Next the room is swarming with daemons and spirits. I was terrified, so I am literally on my knees in front of Granddad and he says "Get up, you can do it." I keep telling him "I can't do it. You're a priest! Help me!" Then he tells me, "You can do it, just find the strength. I'm here." He then holds my hand and presses a cross on it. Then he tells me "You can do it, Andrew." So suddenly I had the strength to lift myself off the floor. I suddenly felt strength flowing through my body so then I drew a sword off the wall and suddenly the daemons went away. I felt revitalized and like a new man. My Granddad nodded and smiled. I smiled back and I turned to the window and saw a grey figure outside in the snow. When I turned back, he was gone, the lights were bright again. So I walked through the house and I saw two people sitting in chairs talking in the next room. Then I woke up.

I told one of my friends and he said that it was a sign from my Granddad, that he was watching and he is with me. He even tells me that this may be a chance for a revelation.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Hi Andrew, welcome to Mysticboard!  I also love the moniker you chose!

It could mean two things: One that you are currently going through a lot of changes or going through something difficult and your mind is telling you that you will get through this.  The other side of the coin is very similar you are going through a lot of changes or something difficult and your grandfather was actually trying to communicate with you through symbols that you're stronger than you think and you'll get through this... and he's right by your side.  I tend to think it's the latter, your grandfather wants you to know he is with you and he is there to guide you...

Why do you feel so alone? Sorry, that question just popped into my head came out of no where but I'm putting it in here anyway.

That's okay. I think it's because as a kid (and still today) I face a lot of rejection, but over the years I've learned to become a better person. I know I'm still young, but I feel so obligated, I guess, to find myself a partner. Some tell me it's an obsession, and I think they may be right.

Understand this, that everything happens for a reason and it makes us more independent (stand on our own two feet), stronger, wiser and it makes us free thinkers. We have an advantage... just don't let the rejection you've had in your life overtake you and make you bitter. Don't dwell on it and learn to let it go, learn to use that experience constructively to benefit the world as well as yourself. From one warrior to another ;)  ::hugs::
