I was at my restaurant, at the back entrance. I was swatting flies. There was alot of them. I give up because there is too many. I then go into my office, and I look at the window. There are more flies. But then i notice there are HUGE bees, trying to get in. These bees were huge!! 9 or 10 inches in length, and they looked hairless like wasps. One of them manages to get into my office and it starts coming at me. As soon as I start to swat at it, I wake up. Funny thing is that I wake up with my pillow in my hand as if I'm swatting lol I have never woken up doing something that I was doing in my dream.
What do flies and gigantic bees mean?

I also just remembered, this is a different subject than bees and flies, but last night I dreamed that I got shot in the back.

Hi Frank,

Flies in general to most people are a nuisance, and bee's are as well in addition to being a threat lest they sting you. To be stabbed in the back would signify something under-handed is going on.  I would say between the two dreams something is going on in your life that you find not only annoying and possibly even petty, but you feel it is a potential threat and you suspect something is going on behind the scenes, or rather behind your back. I suspect this has to do with work... but it is quite possible it is something going on in your personal life where perhaps you are surrounded by those who gossip, aren't what they appear to be (two-faced), you lack trust in them and you feel they may turn on you. Although only you hold the knowledge to what is actually occurring in your life.

Hope this helps

Welcome Frank,

To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun suggests to me that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimized in some situation. To be shot in the back, you must first be either running away from, or are presently unable and/or unwilling to admit or face whatever this set of circumstances is in your waking life.

Generally, unless perhaps you have a phobia/fear about bees or you are highly allergic to their stings, the appearance of bees in a dream is regarded as a particularly positive omen by most dream interpreters. I believe in your case that the size of the bees is simply for dramatic effect, and is possibly also to encourage you in that no matter how major and overpowering your challenges may seem to you at the moment, you can more often than not relatively easily overcome them (just as you killed the monster bee with a single swat).

Here are some of the many general interpretations given for dream bees (not intended as an exhaustive list, by any means):

work and industry (busy as with busy bees)

organisation or being well organised (as with the social order within a bee hive)

fertile or fruitful

good luck

harmony

bliss or extreme joy

a more deeper bond in a love relationship (when the dream bees are collecting honey)

to actually get stung by a bee in your dream is surprisingly often seen as meaning that great (positive) changes are about to happen in your life.

Hoping that this has been of some help to you in better understanding the meanings or messages contained within your dream,

Kindest regards to both Angelique and yourself,
