I too have had this.  The first I recalled was when I was riding a horse and she reared up and fell over backwards on me.  When I came to she was standing next to me and the first thing I saw was her brand which I had dreamed seeing before from the ground, lol.  This was like 25 years ago.

Most recently was where I dreamed I lost my mail scanner.  I have been having a lot of anxiety dreams with  my new job and so this one I remember vividly.  But poo-pooed it until yup, I lost the scanner!!!  Talk about panic!  I traced my footsteps when I was done with the mail route and found it unharmed thank goodness.  But believe me, when it comes to something like that where it could mean my job, I will  pay attention!

The others were insignificant.

I wondered sometimes if perhaps some of it is seeing a parallel universe, ourselves in another dimension at the same time.  Someone brought this up to me and I don't know if I believe it or not but it certainly is intriquing to think about.

How they work ??
Well, I don´t think we must figure this out. If you have this gift, just take it and don´t worry bout it. I guess we´ll be able to see the whole thing when we are supposed to.
We just use a little part of our brain, i don´t know exactly the percentatge, maybe 20 or 30% at most. We are developing our souls , So there are plenty of things that are beyond of our understanding.
In my opinion there are dreams which just reflect feelings of our real life, those which are just memories, the lucid ones, ( i´ve had a couple of them, but i can´t handle them, just some little thing) ,, the premonitory dreams ( which in my case appeared always 1, 2 or 3 days before coming true )  and those which they are used as a way to get contact with both souls living on earth(ordinari people) and souls already gone from the earth.
Few days ago, my brother and sister in law who are going to have a kid, had a special visit in their dreams just after getting the good news . Both of them, Received the visit of one friend who died few months ago. I do think He went to their dreams to congratulate them. no doubt about it.
I had my own experiences too. A friend of mine whose father is already dead  is involved in drugs, and that´s not the way to live to, that´s for sure. He´s not taking the right direction in his life. One night i saw his father in my dreams. He was upset
becasuse of his son, i could feel it in his look. He didn´t talk at all. but i know what he wanted. He wanted me to look for his son, and for myself too.
I saw him again another night, i asked him why´d he come to me, he didn´t answer, he just vanished.
I wonder why there are no words in these dreams, my brother had no words either, and i ve had more experiences with no words too.
So chunkywoman i do believe in a parallel universe, world or whatever we name it.

Has it happend to ne of u that u see som places in ur dreams and then suddenly som day u land up thr n get a deja-vu feelin...its been happenin to me since am a kid..ive been seein many unknown places in my dreams..wich upon wakin i even forget..but then somday, somtimes even after years,i happen to com across dat place n den suddenly that dream comes bk to my mind..

I had a dream years ago of a place.  I was on a holiday with Mum, Dad and my Brother.  A part of my dream was at the place we had visited.  I have also had dreams about what is going to happen in the future.  I had a dream that I would be late to work and about two weeks later the dream came true.
