I accidentally posted this under someone else's topic so I thought I'd try posting it as a new topic, hopefully this will work. Bear with me, I'm a newbie.

I am a dreamer and have some challenges figuring out if the dreams I have are premonitions or messages to me. I seem to dream in chapters. In the first dream there was a flood and my family wnet to seek higher ground. Our 17 year old cat WahBop was missing and I saw her floating towards our location. After I retrieved her I saw that both of her eyes were missing. I woke up and immediately got my kitty and went back to sleep.

Dream, chapter 2, flood theme continued. I was going up a winding road towards the top of a mountain. It reminded me of Lake Arrowhead in Southern California. I got to a section of the road and it had been all washed away. There were workers trying to restore the road. To continue up it, I had to work my way up on foot on a small unstable portion of remaining road and I finally got to the top and to my final destination. I woke up again in a heavy sweat and this time I just stayed awake. Enough disaster dreaming for one night. Any Insights?

Floods mean that you have to deal with situations that are a source of stress and tensions.
Overall it seems that despite the difficulties you will in the end overcome them (you got to the top of the mountain).

Questions for you:
Which colour was the cat?
At what time did you wake up after these dreams?
Did you have cheese for dinner, or meat, maybe (these two are notorious for giving you a rough night)
Were there any floods nearby you during the last 10 days?
Any recent stressful sitiations at home or at work?

There is an extreme amount of tension on the home front including the recent death of my best friend. This is when I started have neck and shoulder pain and still have it today mainly on my right side.
Our cat WahBop is a Norwegian Forest Kitty, white and gray tabby like pattern.
It was 12:13 pm for the first dream and I woke up at 4am "ish" for the second dream.
No cheese and I had a shrimp pasta for dinner.
No floods in my area, I live near Dallas, Texas.

The cat may indicate that you are afraid to use your psychic abilities and your intuition.
I don't how if this can be connected somehow, but I had to look it up.... you know, the Beatles' song "Norwegian Wood":



Anyway, your family won't fall apart - it still is a nucleus as such and youcall seek higher ground. That higher ground is pretty intriguing, could it be a FUTURE shift towards higher spirituality of the whole family? apart from the more obvious safety-related issue. Maybe the family will close up around its members and reach a higher degree of intimacy.... whatever it is, I think this bodes well for the family as a whole. Of course you still have to go through the flood, which is a rough period, but then things will improve.

The cat without eyes may mean uneasiness with the feminine side (the left side of the brain which rules on the left side of the body), especially with avoiding intimacy -- perhaps a reason for your neck and shoulder pain.

The road is rough, you'll find problems on the way, but you'll also find people who will help you to ride it out (road workers). You'll have to take your own decisions, even if difficult, but you shall choose wisely despite the difficulties and you shall reach your goals.

shrimps... you may be feeling overpowered and would like to hide from the world and be left alone for awhile.Your problems will probably sort out in about 4 months.

I hope this helps. I still don't know why the Beatles lyrics pushed their way through (yes, I mean, it's your cat's "almost" breed ) but I don't know what this has to with your dream.... I'll let you know if I find an explanation!
