Hi there, I'm new to these boards and found them completely by accident while looking for something else but i'm hoping someone would be able to help me out with dreams i've had the last few nights.


The first night i dreamt that i went on holiday with my mum and we were crossing over a bridge with a barge next to it that had a swimming pool on that kids were jumping into quite happily and it was a glorious summer day. we continued to walk for a while till we came to a corner shop where my mum needed to buy something so while she was looking for what she wanted i was engaged in slightly off colour banter with the shopkeeper who said something along the lines of ' i wonder what you and your mum would look like with no clothes on' and i laughed and told my mum and she started laughing too and then i woke up.

the second night i dreamt that i was working in an office and nick stokes from csi was there and we got on really well to the point that he wanted a relationship with me which made me feel all happy and giggly but sarah sidle (also from csi)  saw us and she was jealous of the fact that nick wanted a relationship with me and told me so in no uncertain terms but i was upset because i didnt know she liked him because she hadnt said anything and tried to explain that i would never have agreed to have a relationship with him if i'd known she liked him but then i woke up.

finally last night i dreamt that a nice old lady who runs a second hand shop near to us and is selling it, had a house in my old neighbourhood near to where we were renting (i live nowhere near the neighbourhood and havent for over 5 years) and she said that the house, while run down we could have for free as a gift from her and i talked to my husband about it and he said in the dream that i could move there with the kids and he would keep renting the house but i disagreed saying that we should do it up and sell it on because we had already agreed to emigrate to canada and selling the house could help us set up over there (we have been talking about emgrating for over 6 months now in real life).


the wierd thing is i heard all sound in these dreams and they were all in colour which is kind of wierd for me because i dont usually remember my dreams and the ones i do are usually in black and white. i know this is a long first post and i apologise but i had to write these dreams down somewhere before i gnaw my fingers off in frustration at not being able to understand what they mean. If it helps any I am female, i was born in leeds, west yorkshire, england on 15/1/1981 at approximately 1pm.

Dear Emma,

Although I cannot yet individually interpret each of these dreams in turn, I just wanted you to know that it is not though a lack of trying on my part.

My wife says that I am often particularly trying.

I however wanted to make a quick comment here about your observation and obvious feelings of surprise that these dreams were in colour and you could also remember them so vividly, whereas normally if I understand you correctly they are presented in glorious black and white are rapidly forgotten.

I believe that this is thought to mean that the contents and messages contained within these dreams come from a much deeper level of your mind that the more common nightly variety. I sense that these are to a great degree of a psychic nature and are given to you as valuable clues as to your soul purpose.

Unfortunately for you, psychic dreams are generally not designed to be interpreted according to the very general meanings given in somebody else's dream dictionary. These unconscious symbols I feel have an almost unique meaning to your dreaming mind, and while it would not be impossible to gain some clues as to what they could possibly represent, it could potentially confuse you even further than you are already.

This is not intended as a cop out, but it is just the way that our human minds tend to work in such a mysterious manner. It is almost as though our mind does not want us to discover the entire truth all at once as it could easily overpower and frighten us, and subsequently cause us to give up trying before we can determine why it was given to us in the first place. I really suspect that our dreaming mind only gives up it's secrets a bit at a time, in order to keep us hooked!!!

PS: The bridge is a very common but powerful spiritual symbol, generally representing a life going which is currently undergoing significant transformation, or an increasing awareness of it's soul purpose.

Lol a spiritual housecleaning, what a wonderful choice of words yet it totally rings true. I've been housecleaning now for a good ten years and at one point i was even told i was a lightworker as well as being an old soul and that i was having problems settling on one belief system because i needed to reach as many people as possible so i needed info from as many as i could lay my hands on. It sounded a bit strange so while i kept it in mind im still a bit fuzzy on the whole lightworker issue (i dont even know what it means XD)

anyhoo i think its time i got a bit more serious with the housekeeping lol so once again, thankyou so very very much
