As for interpretations, there are many ways one arrives at conclusions. Although I have had dream books in the past, most of them were divinatory or limited on meanings as opposed to psychological representations. I believe some dreams foretell the future but not all. I tend to believe most of them are psychological, your subconscious trying to sort things out or trying to tell you something through everyday symbols... Psychology is a subject I am very familiar with and should have a degree in, but I never pursued it because I would make a terrible psychologist - I get too involved and attached to people and would never be able to draw that line because I genuinely want to help and solve everyone's problems. And that's not the way the world works.

I understand what you're saying about getting too attached. I usually interpret dreams for close friends for the most part.  I have a habit of counciling teens, or, for some reason, people with relationship/dating questions/issues. Why me? I'm the one with the least luck in dating, LOL.  

I've read your other post.. You've really worked very hard and indepth.  No wonder it took so long   But I'm glad that you really wanted to help, not just "Oh great, another interpretation..."

i saw a black dog biting on my leg, below knee last night which forced me to wakeup at 3am,and now i'm reading this post.
