I've had flying dreams a lot and they are always enjoyable ones that I am in control of. In this one I was flying around then I landed in the backyard of the house I grew up in. Once landed someone, I did not see who, was beside me and they said it would it would help me fly if I fed the birds. We fed the birds together, then the person said 'you know there's no such thing as space and time' and then I took off on another flight. This time I was able to fly at tremendous speed and in the distance I saw a portal, which was an area that gave the landscape the effect that you were looking at it in rippled water. I flew inside to another realm/dimension? and then I woke up???????

Dreams of flying are amongst the top 10 most frequently experienced dreams of all time.

I believe that your dreams are mainly of a psychic nature, and may mean that you were at the time astral travelling, or were having an Out Of Body Experience (OOBE).

There may have been some forms of dream symbols mixed in with your psychic experience of having your consciousness temporarily leave your body and travelling to other dimensions and time periods (to fly is to rise above your daily problems and to get a much higher perspective or viewpoint on them), but basically I feel that these series of dreams were either a preparation for or lead up to an OOBE, or the full blown experience itself.

Again, I agree with EOT. My all time favourite dreams are the one's where I am flying because I am free and I love visiting places and people when I am! If I could grow a pair of wings I would!

I find a lot of dreams where I am flying feel more out of body than anything else and those I am flying with have messages, have gatherings and I make sure I listen and try my best to remember and decipher it all when I am awake.
