In the end you are always the best possible interpreter of your own dreams, but here is the generally accepted dream symbolism associated with either being surrounded or perhaps bitten by snakes.

I feel that with the head of the snake being so disproportionately large compared to the rest of it's body this may suggest that it represents one of your current concerns or subconscious fears that urgently needs to be faced and dealt with. Or it might be saying something important about your sense of sexual identity, or your deepest beliefs about your own sexuality.

Quote:
"Seeing a snake or be bitten by one in your dream means hidden fears and worries that are threatening you....."

Snakes might however mean something completely different to your dreaming mind from everyone else's, so please treat these general interpretations with relative caution.

I've heard that whenever you dream of snakes, it either means you are someone you know will get pregnant.  Not sure if it's true or not, but some dream dictionaries do connect snakes to your sexuality.

Hi r1ytm,

If I might add another take on this dream...  there is little description other than the snakes body is huge and it's head as big as your body and you have only been bitten once. I take it you died in that one based on the size of its jaws? In any event, depending on what you feel about snakes it could have several meanings. But as a generality a snake of that size I would say there is something overwhelming you. The fact that it has bitten you, your subconscious or even your conscious mind is telling you that you need to get a handle on something because something is growing out of control or it has the potential of becoming out of control.

I hope this was helpful to you
