I had a dream the other day that my girlfriend was pregnant and had been keeping it from me. She has always said she's a virgin and i do believe her, but in my dream her ex had gotten her pregnant, not me. I felt really betrayed that she wouldn't tell me something like that.

i don't know why this dream happened and i'd like someone to help me interpret it

To dream that your current girlfriend has been unfaithful to you (regardless of whether or not it was with her ex) suggests that you are feeling particularly insecure within your relationship with her (which is with due respect not surprising for a person of your age of 16 years). While you trust her implicitly with your conscious mind, your unconscious dreaming mind is full of doubts and fears which I sense largely arise from your own feelings of inadequacy to be able to come up to the same standards as her previous partner.

I certainly would not openly accuse her of either being unfaithful to you in action or thought on the basis of a single dream and without much more further evidence than this.

Instead I feel that you need to honestly communicate your feelings to her, and I can almost guarantee that she will soon set your mind to rest and that your relationship with her will greatly improve as a result of you being so open and honest with her in telling her that you only wish to make her happy and you are willing to do anything within reason to show her just how much you love and trust her. Pregnancy in a dream rarely represents the real thing.

It could equally mean that the relationship between you is now heavily pregnant or ripe with new opportunities for personal growth. This could potentially be the birth or a much more positive new beginning for your relationship, unless you go and immediately spoil it by over reacting to what is most likely merely a dream symbol.

it sounds about right acutally

i find it odd though, a few nights later i had a dream taht one of my good friends was pregnant, unfortunately, it feels very vague in my mind and i can't remember exactly what happened

This is yet another reason why I feel that someone being pregnant in your dreams does not always necessarily mean that they are about to have a baby in real life.

The big challenge as I see it is to determine what your dreaming mind uses pregnancy to represent. In other words, pregnancy could very well be a symbol of something completely different according to the almost unique language of your own unconscious mind.

See my posting above for only one of many possible alternative interpretations for " someone being pregnant" in your dreams (especially if the female person appearing in your dream corresponds to an actual male person in your waking life, as sometimes happens).

well with both dreams i felt betrayed. I have had feelings for my friend in the past and i think it bothered me that she would be irresponsible like that, and the thing in the other dream was that she had slept with her ex when they were still together and never revealed to me that she was pregnant, even though we always talk about being open with each other about everything.

recently there have been multiple guys who've been "stalking" her and she has been honest about it and I'm glad about that, but whenever i hear her talk about it it bugs me that its happening and theres nothing i can do to control it. Maybe the dream has something to do with that?

or maybe the fact that we haven't been able to spend as much time together lately as I would like

I'm guessing it was one of these more recent problems that caused this because I've never dreamed about pregnancy before (that i can remember)
