Lately, over the past few months I've gone through phases of having anxious dreams. They always follow a similar pattern. They start pretty soon after I've drifted off and I will be in my flat, usually in my bed and I will believe I am awake.
Sometimes there is someone in my room, a friend, an ex-boyfriend who shouldn't be there. Sometimes they are just watching me in bed and I panic, or they are messing with my computer and I get freaked out.
Once I was wandering around my flat in my dream and found ghosts in the living room and scared myself silly. This last time, my current boyfriend was somehow lying above me, which is impossible, as there is a wall there. He had my wrists held in his hands and was pushing down on me from above as I struggled to break free. He thought it was funny but I was panicking and getting stressed out, and I believed it was real because I could feel it all.
When I woke up, he obviously wasn't there, but I was breathing hard and quite disturbed as I normally am when I have these anxious dreams. I call them that because that is always there, this huge feeling of fear, stress and anxiety.

Be careful what you write, your dreams give the truth away.
Do you dream of preditors?
Or dream of small scurrying vermin?
Both are symbols of a problem. Let me know.

Me and a close friend discused the dreams and apparently being watched is a symbol that your privacy is being invaded and rumours have been started about me on the uni I am on and that may be the cause of my anxiety.
