Hi a friend told me that she dreamt that a man (she described as my future husband) called her at our workplace and asked for me (by the sirname F) and she said to him you mean C (my current name) and the person said that my name had changed it was now F and that i had gotten married. can you tell me what this means or is it that my friend takes work too seriously to the point that she is dreaming about it.

please interpret this dream if it has any meaning. my friend is usually very stressed from our job. sometimes she is stressed till she has to take stree sick days

Third party dream interpretations are generally about as reliable as giving a person a third party reading. It was your friend's dream after all, and it was therefore written in the unique language of her own unconscious mind (not your own). This could have meant something entirely different if you had dreamed it, and not her?

I seriously doubt that this dream could be interpreted as predicting or even suggesting that you are destined to marry a man with a surname starting with F and have therefore changed your maiden name to his, but it could be saying that she should have no preconceived ideas in future about the type of man which you as her friend would attract.

This would be even more interesting if your friend currently perceives the both of you as competing for the affection of that same man in your waking lives (with the surname starting with F).

If he is ringing you at work instead of her and identifying you as his wife, she would probably feeling insanely jealous of you, which is why it seems strange that she would now be telling you about her dream at all.

Possibly on the other hand this dream could be seen as meaning that there is no longer any purpose of her continuing to pursue this particular man when he is obviously already taken (by you, his dream wife). Maybe it signals her increasingly urgent need to accept what might turn out to be inevitable (you will ultimately be a couple), and learn to put it behind her without necessarily ending your long term friendship with her in the process.
