Something in your daily duties and routine is becoming apparent.
You are willing to walk upstairs where there are sheets that cover furniture - from what period of time?
The action is between yourself and two characters. One character interested in playing the piano and the other interested in observing and directing you.

Dear firsttube,
and here is my attempt at interpreting your dream too....
You wrote:
the dream was full colour and very vivid and clear. I was not scared at all.
This is an informative dream, and the added colour to it was because it is important and your subconscious wanted you to remember it...'vividly'.
I walked into an old victorian house that was under renovation.
Houses represent part of your own psyche, your mind and who you are..... As we change our concepts and ideas about life, our principles and views on matters...we 'build' new houses and sometimes abandon the old.
The fact that this is a Victorian House (from a previous era), tells me that it is a part of your mind where you house 'Victorian principles and ideas'. These ideas are totally 'victorian' and probably puritan, and you have started rennovating them, since you feel that they are worth preserving and keeping.
There was a sort of tower at the front of the house.
Towers allow you views (visions) which you would otherwise be oblivious to. They allow you to see further than the average person, and as this house has a tower in front of it... it would mean to me that your 'victorian' and/or 'puritan' beliefs, principles and/or ideas are a part of you because you seem to see a bit further than the normal person. I.e. not every new idea is a good idea, and not every good idea is a new idea...
I went up the spiral stairs, there were some workmen around working on the house.
I assume you went up the Tower part of the house right?
Spirals have to do with spirituality and this is the way when we leave our bodies for the last time when we return to Creator.
It is known as the 'staircase' to heaven and the connection between this dimension and the psychic realms. Since this is a staircase going up the tower, you have consciously made a choice to 'climb' the spiritual ladder, and elevate your spiritual level to where you would receive a clearer spiritual 'vision' of life and situations around you.
It could also be the spiral (spiritual) staircase between your subconsciousness and your higher self.
The workmen working on the house, may be parts of your own conscience, or even outside influences like friends or family reasoning with you...
When I got to the top I was in a round room with furniture covered in sheets.
Anything round represents eternity...no beginning and no end... You were in a sacred place, somewhere in your Higher Self. The fact that the furniture was covered in sheets, tells me that you haven't been there for quite some time, yet it used to be a place which you often frequented (hence it was furnished).
There was a piano at the far end, and I could see a woman playing it. I went right up to her and stood beside her. She did no acknowledge me. She looked really old. She just continued to play. I did not recognize the music. I tried to get her attention, but no response. I grabbed her head and turned it toward me.
When we do not pay attention to certain values we hold....they will eventually age and disappear in the end... Ever heard the saying..."a little bit of me died inside?"
This is a spiritual aspect of yourself which is wise and old, and she was playing music there... (music is the food of the soul), perhaps in order to draw your attention. Since it took you so long to get there, she did not acknowledge you anymore...perhaps even gave up on you.
You didn't recognise the music, because having seperated yourself from your old spiritual values, you have forgotten how to be 'in tune' with your own 'music of the soul'.
You obviously was not going to let it remain that way, and forced her to look at you...to know that you are back and doing something about this whole situation (i.e. rennovating).
All of a sudden I was sitting in the middle of the room cross-legged and there was a younger girl (maybe 30 years old) sitting directly across from me in the same position. I asked her who she was, and she said "I'm Debbie, the ghost that watches you."
I can sort of remember her face. She had dark shoulder-length wavy hair and was pretty. She was wearing white-robe like clothing.udden I was sitting in the middle of the room cross-legged and there was a younger girl (maybe 30 years old) sitting directly across from me in the same position.
Sitting cross-legged implies meditation, and you have a guide who is watching over you (she is disembodied as most guides are), and she is 'showing you how to get in touch with your spiritual self again by mirroring your meditation cross legged pose'. (Or perhaps you were actually mirroring her...that seems to be more fitting here.)
The way she looked is the way you looked before you began to neglect this part of yourself, I suspect you were in your thirties, young and vibrant when you held these values and principles close to your heart. She looks like you in a younger age, in order to remind you how 'it used to be with you'.
Her white robe suggests purity, innocence and spirituality....
I only knew 2 debbies in my life. One lived across the street from me when I was very young and she would baby sit my sister and I. The other was my sisters best friend's sister.
You were being baby sitted when you were very young and vulnerable (much as you are now) by someone whose name this guide used as a metaphor to let you know that you are not alone, and you are being watched and guided.
I hope you enjoyed your interpretation... Please let us know how these interpretations sit with you, as doing so can only help us in our future analysises of dreams....
love and rainbows

First of all, thank you for the very enlightening and insightful interpretations...I really appreciate it.
Raka:
Yes, I did go up the tower part of the house.
I have never really been a spiritual person at all in terms of a religion. In a literal sense, I am a musician and I feel pretty good about the music I am creating now...I think it is even better than in the past. So I'm not really sure about the separation from old spiritual values.
I am 31 right now, but I felt like Debbie was roughly the same age as me. When I said younger I meant she was much younger looking than the woman at the piano. Also, I am male so I don't think I look like her, but maybe you meant in a figurative sense?
One thing I neglected to mention is that there was someone else with me, walking with me in the house, but they were always just out of my view, so I could not recognize them. Is that significant?
I do want to find out more about this Debbie, so I will try to ask myself who she is as I drift off tonight.
