Two nights ago, I dreamt of meeting a small, short blonde haired woman.

I know we made love - but I do not remember that part. The dream acknowledged that this occured because she kissed me and it was passionate.

I then found myself in a white wedding dress. Sitting down next to her. I had ash on smeared on my face and I was repeating vows.

I was not saying wedding vows.

I was then about two-to-three centimetres away from a male. He had three sticks of incense. He had lit the first two and told me he could do this. And on the third lit I started to cough phlegm from my chest.

I woke up coughing.

Two nights ago, I dreamt of meeting a small, short blonde haired woman.

Everyone has a feminine (emotional and empathetic) and masculine (creative assertive) side...I believe this to be your creative masculine side.  Short blonde hair reminds me of your 'tomboy' side, the playful, creative and masculine side of your being.  You 'met' her because either you have never really acknowledged your creative side before and didn't know her...or you have buried it a long time ago due to your circumstances and forgotten or denied her existence.

I know we made love - but I do not remember that part. The dream acknowledged that this occured because she kissed me and it was passionate.

Your creative side has awakened in you again, loves you and  reminded you that "it is in union with you", and that you should not deny or surpress it...you need it just as it needs you.

I then found myself in a white wedding dress. Sitting down next to her. I had ash on smeared on my face and I was repeating vows.

A wedding dress represents commitment and white represents purity and innocence.  In your dream you have acknowledged (repeating vows), that you need to 'marry' yourself to your creative and playful side again. Your dress was white because you were innocent of whatever caused this surpressing of your joyful energetic creative side.  It could be circumstances beyond your control that forced you to deny and divorce this side of you. 

You may have been 'divorced' from your joy and energetic creative side due to stress and problems that took your attention away from actually 'living and enjoying' your life and the ash smeared on your face could be your own psyche 'mourning in sorrow' the fact that you have basically buried this part of you.

Acknowledgement does not mean commitment.  You were not 'saying' the vows, therefore not committing yourself to rectifying this void in your life yet, but by repeating them, you are aware and do acknowledge on a subconscious level that you need to do this.

The male I feel, may be your Twin Flame assisting you here...and the closeness of his proximity confirms that for me.  Also the fact that you refer to him as 'male' and not 'man'.  You see him as an aspect of yourself, 'male' as in gender, not a different masculine entity...i.e. a 'man' as in a seperate being.

Everyone has a twin flame of the opposite sex, who aids us when we are too weak to do something ourselves and I feel that these three sticks of incense he held, represent the concepts " ....conceive....believe....achieve...."

All three these concepts begin with Spirit and Soul...therefore the use of incense which represents the Spiritual and spirituality.  He is digging deep in order to assist you....

He had lit the first two and told me he could do this.

He could do it because he was your Twin Flame.

You have conceived the idea that life is actually chocking you at this time, and that you need to do something about it.
You believe that some change should come into your life and soon, or you need to effect it yourself...

The dream is focused upon a feeling you have (as is represented by any female). The woman suggests using an emotional perspective that appears to reflect intelligent thinking (a blond woman) but one which appears to be less than the ideal. (short). This seems to be a feeling that you might get some emotional satisfaction from. (meeting/meating a woman)

There seems to have been some love for this feeling (I know we made love) but this is not what is to be recalled now. (but I do not remember that part) The fact is that with this feeling you sense you are being very loving towards yourself. (The dream acknowledged that this occurred because she kissed me and it was passionate.)

Because of this, you have elected to form a more permanent bond with this feeling (in a wedding dress) and rest quite at ease about this. (sitting down next to her) The problem here is that when seen using the imagery of a wedding, the closer bonding or union with this woman means that you are responding to a feeling as does a woman to a man. This would mean that your own emotional response is to an emotion rather than to a point of logic.

The ash is an old symbol of both penitence and mourning. Generally, I believe, the ash was put upon the head to express mourning and thus it may be quite significant that here the ash is upon your face. Upon the face, the ash can imply that some mourning or sorrow pertains to your self identity {here, probably because a rational woman is expected to respond emotionally to reason rather than to emotion}. Note also how the ash has appeared smeared on your face when you are repeating vows. This can also suggest that the mourning may relate with a promise you are or have made to yourself.

The man represents an aspect of your mind and shows how you are thinking. Being two-to-three centimeters away from the man would imply a closeness or affinity for a certain way of thinking – but here this is an affinity that needs to be logically evaluated. (as indicated by the numbers and centimetres)

Lighting sticks of incense would imply that light – intelligence – can be seen associating with the sticks of incense. Thus the scene shows that on a mental level, you are attributing intelligence to a feeling of being “incensed”; being inflamed with anger. Here this is recognized as both possible and allowable (told me he could do this) - when attributing intelligence to being incensed is seen as a negative/wrong idea. (he had lit the first two) But, when attributing intelligence to being incensed is to be seen as a good or Godly idea you start to cough. (on the third lit I started to cough) At this point it becomes necessary to reject some overly emotional or imaginative thinking (cough phlegm). It seems to be having an adverse effect upon your waking life. (I woke up coughing)

At a certain point an old anger may be comforting but it may actually be holding you back.}
