For about seven years of my life, I can't remember any of my dreams, or maybe I wasn't having them. Recently i've had a dream. I'll try my best to explain it. I'm worried about what it means.  

Okay, it started off kinda bumpy I was with my ex girlfriend. Who I havent spoken to in quite some time. We were at her house, and suddenly someone I know, not from real but someone I know through business relations online. The person began to throw butcher knives at me. As I recall, my ex girlfriend was hit several times with the knives. As I stood next to her, with my back turned as she fell to the ground and began screaming in pain. I was hit maybe twice by the knives. Then the person who threw them disappeared, and I "switched" places with my ex girlfriend. It turns out, I was never next to my ex girlfriend. I was the one laying on the floor screaming in pain. As my ex threw the knives at me.

Really makes me think, I havent had dreams in what seems like forever. Why suddenly did I have this dream?
