Its like when I go to sleep at night I go out of my body and I start seeing people in my family that have died,and they talk to me.Then all of a sudden this fear comes over me and I go right back into my body sometimes I even see some creepy looking spirits and wake up screaming.

The body in dreams can be seen as representing your own emotional nature (as opposed to the mental aspect). By leaving the body, your experiences can be saying that you have chosen to view a situation by putting aside your feelings; that you cannot see your own feelings as playing a part in what you see or believe.
All people in dreams personify an idea. Psychologically, the family members represent the core aspects of your ego structure from which you obtain your sense of Self. Thus your sleeping experience can suggest that you are not able to see that certain aspects of yourself are reflections of your own emotional perspective. The dead suggest using ideas, thoughts or feelings that have no further practical use to you in the real world. Yet here these dead family members “talk to you”, i.e. these aspects of the Self and the ideas they convey to you, although of no practical value, still seem to address your needs or concerns. If we choose to regard the spirits as representing the deceased, the “creepy looking spirits” may be adding emphasis to the undesirable nature of ideas that no longer have any real place in your waking life.
It is also possible that your experiences focus rather literally upon the idea of being able to communicate with deceased family members. The draw back may be the appearance of unwelcome “spirits”. But, the main point this type of sleep and dream experience is trying to make, is that you seem unaware of the part your own emotional nature plays in this type of situation. {Many people dream of dead people but they are not sensing themselves to be out of the body when this happens. }
In both these two cases, when you “wake up”, i.e. when you acquire more awareness, you may need to raise an alarm (wake up screaming) about this way of thinking. There is something to fear in both cases. (all of a sudden this fear comes over me)
