I don't know about anybody else out there, but I have some of the craziest dreams.  The other night I dreamt of the biggest chunk of meat you have ever seen.  I was offered this piece of siverside meat on special from $12.99 per kilogram to $5.00 for the chunk.  I ummed and aahed and decided to take it.  I then stressed about how I was going to cook this meat.  I woke up with this wuestion on my mid and spent the rest of the night working out what I would do with this meat.  If anybody knows what this dream means, please let me know as it is still as vivid as if I was watching the tv now.

Meat can simply represent “food for thought” but of a kind that requires some effort in order to understand it and which takes more intelligence to do so than is possessed by the very innocent (the young children).  As this piece of meat seems much larger than a normal chunk of meat would be, it strongly suggests that you have put much more importance upon the idea it represents than might be the normal.  A chunk of raw meat can also represent the idea of feeling you have been given “a raw deal”; that you have been treated unfairly. A chunk of raw meat can also suggest “feeling like a piece of meat” – like an object for men’s satisfaction, usually sexual. Today women also sometimes see males as a piece of meat (like a hunk). . {Could any such a thought be your food for thought at the moment?}

The specific mentioning of “silverside meat” is quite significant. Since this cut of beef comes from the hindquarter of beef cattle, it would imply that you have bought or accepted food for thought that could be regarded as “a bum steer”, i.e. accepted an idea that is misinformation or simply not very helpful. By using the term silver in the name of this cut of meat, it can also be implied that this food for thought does not reflect God’s thinking. (God is gold)  

While you have showed some initial hesitation about accepting an idea that seems “mete” or just, you do finally accept it. You have bought an idea in a way that makes it seem to be a good bargain or cheap (reduced from 12.99 to 5.00). This means that you probably are not appreciating the real consequences of accepting this idea and or that the idea you have bought is of little value. What you may need to feel some anxiety over is the question of how you can make the idea being represented by this chunk of meat more easily understandable for yourself. (how I was going to cook this meat)

On a more physical level of interpretation this scene can indicate a food issue – namely the issue of  buying or eating meat. Where a bargain price is noted, it can suggest that the cost of meat may be an issue with you. The scene brings up several questions. What type of meat do you buy a lot of? Is it always cheaper cuts? Do you know how to cook some of the cheaper cuts apart from ground beef?  Do you need to give more thought to how you can cook meat? Could there be a problem with the quantity of meat you might be buying? What are you doing differently in the dream than you might be doing in reality? The answer to this might give you some clue as to what the dream is recommending.
