The main focus of your dream does not really seem to be the idea of being able to fly but rather the fact that you appear to be living the life of “a fairy”. (Fairies just happen to be able to fly.) As you see yourself to be a fairy in this dream, the first thing that seems obvious here, is that your self-concept is very unrealistic.
Being a fairy can suggest seeing yourself as a supernatural being in human form or having an enchanted life. It can also imply seeing yourself simply as living a fairy tale life – one in which the world’s physical requirements or rules might seen irrelevant. Since the real fairies of fairy tales are diminutive creatures, the fact that you see yourself as a giant fairy would imply that you have greatly exaggerated the importance of a fairy tale existence. It seems rather significant that those people you see as “not so nice” are those who cannot completely share in your fairy tale world or thinking. (people not so nice were the ones who could not fly)
The cute pixie hair cut while completing the fairy image does also suggest having thoughts that have been cut short – not allowed to develop to any significant length or degree. This would contribute to the idea that when living as if having a fairy tale self image or possibly an imaginative self image, that you cannot take yourself very seriously {Note how you personally saw the dream – as comical … not seemingly too serious.}
The very toned body would refer to having a very fit emotional nature. When flying like a bird, one is using one’s emotional nature to a high degree. In this scene the flying allows you to play ball in the air, that is, your emotional nature is letting you “have a ball” – have a wonderful time – but not upon the rational grounds of reasoning a human is expected to enjoy life upon. The dance clothing would imply seeing your role or function as being to live life. (Dancing is often used as a metaphor for living and life itself. In this dream, life is being lived as in a fairy tale, on a very imaginative level.) Yet you have put much too much emphasis upon the fairy tale-like existence. (giant sized fairies)
The pharmacy suggests using a mental attitude that might be selling yourself on an idea that is just what the doctor ordered, i.e. something recommended by the Higher Self/God. Yet here there is also a soda shop which can imply using a mental attitude that is also designed to fulfill a thirst or desire meant to satisfy the emotional aspect of the self. Fulfilling such a thirst is not seen here as being “an up-front” or legitimate idea (soda shop at the back)
There is an emotional aspect of yourself (sister-in-law) from which you are obtaining a perspective that would focus upon your arms. This is an emotional perspective which is very “in-the-law”, legitimate and meant to be honoured. (husband’s oldest sister) This perspective would put more definition, clarity or focus upon being “up in arms” – expressing some anger pertaining to your fairy tale self concept – and to the practicality of this (tan colour). (commenting on my arms, how well defined they are and the colour of my skin)
{While having a great imagination can be a wonderful thing, this dream seems to imply that you may be over doing this aspect of yourself at the expense of developing other mental abilities. You may be extremely fit – for a fairies life – but perhaps not for a rational human’s.}

Dear Eliz,
I have to congratulate you on this interpretation... This was NOT an easy dream to interpret ...not by a long shot, and it dealt with some very sensitive issues which you handled with care, yet you did not "sugar coat" anything...
Whatever the outcome may be...I think you did a very good analysis.
Great Work...Well done!!!!
love and rainbows
