| i had this dream about 12 years ago but i can remember it like it was last night. i had this dream after a very close friend of mine was murdered she and i were very close, not lovers or anything she was more like a younger sister i never had but after her funeral i was feeling very depressed and eventually fell asleep and i saw her in a dream but i could only see her from the shoulders up and she looked happy also she was trying to say something but i couldn't understand what she was trying to say both of us was it's kind of hard to explain kind of like swimming in sunlight after a while of just looking at each other she turned and seem to fade away and left me alone floating there which i didn't seem to mind the light was such a warm and wonderful feeling i never wanted to leave but then a ball of pure white light came from nowhere and kept getting bigger until almost like a physical force knocked me out of the dream the light was so bright that when i opened my eyes right after the dream was over it took a couple minutes until my eyes cleared so i could see again the reason i remember this dream so vividly is it's the last dream i remember ever since i don't remember dreams which is strange because when i was younger most of my dreams always came true. can anyone tell me what this dream meant? thanks for any help |
this was a deeply spiritual dream
you can maybe work on trying to get back to a place where you remember your dreams but it is common not to remember them as well once you go through puberty
regardless this is one of those cases where the other person in your dream, i truly believe, was her. she tells you there that she is okay but in the way you understand. i can get more specific with the interpretation as i look at the light symbols more closely - so ill post more soon but this is a spiritual dream
you also have a capacity for this kind of dream
it could be fear that prevents you from remembering these now and you may not know how or why it got there
tonight say to yourself as you are laying in bed about to fall asleep - i will remember my dream when i wake up.
when you wake up if you have a glimmer write it down FAST
see what happens...
and with all the insight i have on others dreams i cant say i interpret my own... i remember them in the morning but they are so fragmented and the effort it takes to get the story is not something i ever want to do before my latte but i dont remember by that time... ::sigh::
sometimes i wake up too early and get up and have a smoke - this is the time i will type up my dream in my dream journal - then go back to bed; if this happens you should try
but dont smoke - its bad!

(i need to quit!)
