Howdy foilks

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this recurring dream that I seem to have every few weeks or so....

I am always in some millitary and I'm a rookie but very quickly Im escalated to a top authority position and its always forced upon me but I secretly like the power it gives me.

It always seems to have a futuristic theme and it's always about the world being invaded by some type of alien (and these buggers are always vicious brutes).  The dream keeps repeating the scenario of me gathering up the frightened masses and trying to rally them to the cause. Everyone besides myself, always seems to cower and begins to hate me because I demand to fight back and not give up. It almost turns out that I become the percieved tyrant...

I am always trying to save at least one person in particular...this person is faceless but always young, you could say still very childlike.

The dream ends in the middle of things...I never know if we win. I never know if I managed to save the child. There is always a "being chased" scene. There's loads of action going on (bullets, lazors, bombs, screaming, tremors). Truthfully, it's a fun dream to have because lets face it...who doesn't desire to be the hero and save the poor innocents.

Oh yes, and I'm usually empowered with some ability...either super strong, super fast, I can fly, I can read the alien's mind...

It sounds like a movie, huh? A movie that never ends though! And it's getting really annoying! Help please

Dreams about invasions, alien or otherwise,  are often suggestive of health issues. (Your subconscious conveying to you that there are "invaders" within your body.) Go have a physical.

Thank you. Truthfully, I've been meaning to have a check up but I've never managed to find the time. You have just given me a shove.
