Loud screeching noise

The other night I was woken up by the loudest noise I have ever heard in my life.  It was a loud screeching noise, I guess kind of like when a train is braking and you hear that loud groaning/screeching...  The noise was in my right ear only.  I woke up and looked at my husband to see if he heard it as well and he was sleeping soundly.  My cats were in bed with us also and they were fast asleep as well so I know they didn't hear it.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?  The only thing I can chalk it up to is a dream, but it seemed so real.  My ear actually hurt!!

That's the thing, I know that we're all here for a reason--to follow a path and continue with our learning experience, but I'm not entirely sure what mine is!

I have had screaming noises before and I think it is part of going into a unconcious astral place.

I don't believe you need to try and listen to a message of your path, your path is wherever you are and about living truly and authentically.

My best advise would be if it happens again is to imagine roots going down into the ground from your body to earth yourself and if you're scared as I remember I was the first time, ask for comfort and it not to happen again.
