I dreamt about a tall, blonde, famous, 30ish man who I was very attracted to in the dream.  We had a relationship for awhile and then the dream jumped to me meeting up with him at a gathering where he was signing autographs on sports clothing.  I talked to him and asked if he remembered me and he said no and I told him that at one time we had been married. (like in another life or something).  Suddenly police came in and tackled him to the ground and demanded he give them his name.  He gave them some name and an officer said "no, give us your real first name!"  The man answered "Constance.  Constance David Thor"  I repeated the name in my dream and later woke up and immediately remembered that name.  It's the first time a dream character of mine has had an actual name.  I thought the name "Constance" was sort of weird for a man's name but I'm curious to know what significance the name might have for me.  Constance = constant maybe David = no clue, Thor = sore possibly? I don't know.....

out of curiosity I looked up the ethomology *origin*  of these names here is what I found
CONSTANCE

Gender: Feminine

Usage: English, French

Pronounced: KAHN-stants (English), kawn-STAWNS (French)   [key]
Medieval form of CONSTANTIA. This was the name of a daughter of William the Conqueror.

DAVID

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, Jewish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Czech, Slovene, German, Biblical

Other Scripts: דָוִד (Hebrew), Давид (Russian)

Pronounced: DAY-vid (English), da-VEED (French), dah-VEET (Russian), DAH-fit (German)   [key]
Possibly derived from Hebrew דוד (dvd) meaning "beloved". David was the second and greatest of the kings of Israel, ruling in the 10th century BC. Several stories about him are told in the Old Testament, including his defeat of Goliath, a giant Philistine. Jesus was supposedly descended from him. Other famous bearers of this name include the 5th-century patron saint of Wales, two kings of Scotland, empiricist philosopher David Hume, and explorer David Livingstone

THOR

Gender: Masculine

Usage: Norse Mythology

Pronounced: THOR   [key]
From the Old Norse Þórr meaning "thunder". Thor was the Norse god of strength, thunder and war, the son of Odin. He was armed with a hammer called Mjolnir, and wore an enchanted belt which doubled his strength.

so we have From the Late Latin name Constans, which meant "constant, steadfast".
David  Hebrew דוד (dvd) meaning "beloved".
and Thor meaning Thunder..
so basically I got nothing much from this LOL maybe you did?

Thanks Graciela for taking the time to look up those names.  Actually I did get a little bit more info on what it might mean.  Sounds like maybe those names could symbolize the traits I want in my partner.  Someone steadfast (faithful), beloved (someone I truly love), and strong (Thor the Norse god of strength). I am currently married, but let's just say my husband isn't the "Thor" type.  The rest of the dream is still unclear but I'll give it some more thought and see if now I can piece some more of it together.  Thanks again!!
not thor type

strenght I feel can come in many forms. not just physical. We have different kinds of strenghts from being able to provide for family. Being there when you need them. Putting up with another person even if they arent so good to be with on some days.. LOL
perhaps its saying to help bring out that Thor in your mate by being strong as well. most times however a dream is only aspects of your own self. Seeing the self from a 3rd person perspective
