I keep on dreaming of past friends, who act as if nothing has happened aal this years. I find it difficult to get an explanation. Who can shed a little light on this?

I think perhaps I need more explanation.  When you say past friends - are these people you used to be friends with but no longer associate with, or people who have died? If they are ex-friends, what happened to end the friendship?

You say they act as if nothing has happened all these years: do you mean that in the dream you are back in the time of the original friendship, as if no intervening time had passed? Or do you mean you are living your "today" life, and they reappear as they were then, pretending that you are still the person you were then?
