Hi. I've always had problems confusing my dreams with reality and was wondering if there is a way to help clear things. First I'd like to say my sleep is not the best. Best way I can describe it is being half-asleep. I usually lie in bed asleep but still fully aware of everything going on around me. Often time's I can wake up in the middle of a conversation and take part in it with no problem or confusion. When I do fall asleep completely, I'm out cold and very hard to wake up. My dreams are almost always "normal" in the sense that I there are no flaws that can tell me if my memory of an event was a dream or not. I have memories of doing things with my best friend that never happened but I remember so vividly its hard to believe it was a dream. I raise confusion among family and friends all the time as I remind them of something they did or said which they never did or said. Changing the dream subject, when I do have the non-"normal reality" dreams I am rarely actually in my dreams. These rare dreams are like movies playing.

Basically, is having dreams that seem so real that they leave memories as if they actually occured normal? And is it normal to not even appear in your dreams at times? Everyone tells me I have an over-active imagination which actually has lead into some phycological problems which I am not comfortable talking about.

That sometimes happens to me too.  What's worse is I think I have very little gap on reality, because I can dream something that's clearly non-reality and be totally convinced it's real.  That doesn't happen often, but regularly, I dream a very real dream.  Usually I strike it lucky and it's a clarevoyant dream.  Are any of your real-dreams clarevoyant or just uncannily like real memories?

Most of them are uncannily like real memories. My best friend swears I'm a vibe (not really sure what that is though lol). In reality, I'm very sensitive to others' emotions and feelings. I have boring dreams because my dreams are exactly what I do in reality. No flying, nothing ever chasing me, never falling (unless I trip while I'm walking which I do often). So weeks later I forget what was a dream and what wasnt.
