What do earthquakes and rain mean in dreams?

Rain is cleansing, it makes the chemical breeze bearable. An earth quake is a seismic shift. Pressure tension, and friction that has been building up finally giving way. Perhaps inviting the water element would allow more balance and prevent it from building up to the point of down poor. Someone explained to me how they extrapolated from the bible that there was no rain in the garden of Eden, just springs and mist. Not till the woods caught fire did it rain and put out the fire, and since then there has been rain. Implying that rain is an extreme condition created from an imbalance.

I would also suggest releasing tension in small amounts more frequently, so it does not build up to ground shaking intensity. This likely represents the planet as a whole, but a snow flake never felt responsible for an avalanche.
