To me AERO PLANE (AIRPLANE) means the following:

This vehicle often represent your high ideas and ideals.  It also could be "rising above a situation", but this is also the Age of Aquarius and this is how we travel in this Age.  As a symbol of lifestyle, this would symbolize a freedom of thinking and doing, a wider acquaintance with and acceptance of new ideas, customs, concepts and beliefs.

It also denotes "global thinking", thinking big.  

Small private planes:

They would have about the same meaning as the larger ones, with perhaps a bit more personal flavour, especially if it is your small plane.  It may depict your mental attitude, your mental body or "mental hopes", ideals, prayers, affirmations, wishes, thoughts, blessings or curses you send out into the world which return to you for better or worse.
