As for my interpretation of the symbol, I think earrings could symbolize wealth and prosperity myself. If you see earrings in a dream it could mean that something that has to do with material desires is manifesting or will manifest, depending on what happened in the dream, of course.
Earrings could also symbolize the things you value or things precious to you...since most jewelery is cherished by the people who own it.
