It looks like maybe you've got a communication problem with somebody in your family circle. Maybe you two don't see eye to eye on something relatively important. But is it likely that you're just speaking two different languages? Check out the possibility. Sound out the person on the other end of the dispute a little. It could turn out that you two don't stand as far apart on the issue as you thought.

What's the difference between being grown up and not being grown up? Well, there's taxes, for one thing. Grownups have to do their taxes, kids don't. Then there's shoelace tying. Children can't tie their shoes, grownups can. Then there are emotions: Children aren't responsible for theirs. Grownups are. You could have a few 'am I an adult or am I still a kid on the inside' moments. Choose the grownup route: It's no fun not to be able to tie your own shoes.
