I am very interested in learning how to use crystals for healing and recently bought a set of crystals so i could begin. Im unsure which colours relate to which parts of the body etc? Also how long do i keep them placed on the body during a session of healing and do i place them all on the body at the same time in a healing session or each one on its correct place one at a time? Hope someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanks

First I would spend some time with the crystals. Crystals will share there emotions and feelings with you. Predominantly the color of the crystal will coincide with the color of the chakra associated with a particular part of the body. I have a page here that you can choose which crystal you are using and the chakra it is associated with:

It is not a complete list yet but that takes time, as you should take time to learn about the crystals you purchased. Do not rush into anything. If you listen to your intuition it will let you know were to place the crystal for certain healing.

Healing with Chakra Energies by Sue and Simon Lilly
Illustrated Directory of Healing Crystals by Cassandra Eason

There is a whole series of books by Katrina Raphael too, but I would start with the two above.

There are many ways of doing a body layout session, depending on your goals. You can do whole body layouts, chakra layouts, goal oriented layouts, use 2 stones or 20 stones. There is no one simple answer. Some sessions are short, 5 minutes, others are an hour or more.

Sorry to be so general, but it takes time, practice and experimentation to find what is right. And what is right for one person, will not work for another. Work on your intuition and listen to the stones. There is no right answers in this realm.

Are there any classes in your area? Try picking up a Reiki News Magazine or other spiritual healing magazine and see what you can find. I know there are several healing centers in the UK that teach classes.
