my roomate found this rock somewhere at a friends house, i thought it was cool because it has a very interesting shape and a shiny texture but i seem to see a little magic coming from it, maybe i'm wrong and seeing things but what does everybody else think:

To me all rocks are alive.  Some I have heard call them the rock people or stone people.  Each has it's own energy and gives to the planet it's own unique qualities.  
Some have been with the Fae, others carry other special energies.  
If you are feeling something, then sit and get very quiet with the stone and ask if it is willing to share with you.
I have had friends who have learned the history of the stone, who it was around, when it was created..........etc. etc.

Some stones and crystals have had energy put into them by others thru the years, many many many many many years. I have a bunch of crystal balls, all made out of the same stone. The are Black ruitilated quartz.  They all came to me over a period of 4 years.  They like being together and playing together.
I have another crystal brought to me by a friend from a museum.  She said it drew her to her from the other side of the museum.  It was meant to be mine. She purchased it for me.  It sits in my living room.  It is very special.
Don't talk to me about Moldavite.  We have a strong connection.

I have stones and crystals speak to me in stores.  I talk back and share with them.  

Your stone wants to be cleansed, smudge it with some cleansing incense or sage.  It would like to be with you before it shares more about itself.
That is my hit.  I think that is why it is more obscured in the pic.

ok thank ya. the only thing that i get from it when i touch it, is volcano. like it was from a volcano or near one i'm not exactly sure

That is probably why I get to smudge it and not use sea salt and water to cleanse it.  It would really like to be cleansed  Then you can get more info from it.

Sometimes stones and crystals are more social and public in sharing info and energy, other times they are for a specific person or people.
Cleanse it and see if you get more info about it.

i dont really have any of that right now...i might have some insense somewhere around the house, i just gotta find it
