Can anyone let me know more about this? I was thinking of purchasing one to cleanse my crystals but there are so many kinds and different notes corresponding to the different chakras. Would you need bowls corresponding to the different chakras to cleanse crystals related to the same chakra? Can you just have one and what would be a good kind or note...hmmm  

If you are talking about the crystal bowls, get what appeals to you and what you can afford.
I have been told that they are a note, for the chakra.  I have bowled musicians with my crystal bowls.  They were amazed how the  changed pitch and tone according to the energy.  
I always bowl asking the highest purpose be served for the person, the crystal and the bowl.
Also, you want to put something in the bowl to set your crystals on.  You don't want to break them.

Allow the bowls to be the best and the most they can be and you will be amazed.

The Tibetan bowls are 7 metals.  Each true Tibetan bowl was chanted over during the process of making them.
Each bowl was made for a specific purpose.  Some are healing, others are for different things.
The purpose of the individual bowl purpose has been long lost.
Pick the one that resonates to you.
It is best that they not be shined.
The can be cleaned, but not with polish. They loose their energy and play differently.
They are also good for cleaning crystals.
Always with both bowls, ask the highest purpose to be served for all who hear and all who feel the vibrations.
They put out your feelings and thoughts and magnify them and send them a long way.

Thanks for the info. I will look around and read some more on them. Do you think the crystal bowls are better for cleaning crystals and healing work...or is it just preference?

I was looking at the crystal bowls and I think they are out of my price range LOL
 
What about buying online? It'd prob be better to see hear feel in person
