Roses are delicate
They last hardly one season
Quartz, on the other hand
Must burn and pressed by Earth's embrace long

When Mother Earth knows that her child is ready
She will bestow it to surface dwellers like us
And then we humans must receive our brother gracefully
And lovingly must we connect to Mother Earth's healing energy

Names will differ as do those of our Gods and Apostles
But the Sky and the Earth the same; the ones that we all share!
And the water we drink and the fruit we eat
And when time is up, some return to the sky as smoke, others to Earth

The rose quartz was a serendipity
For like the free bounties of Mother Earth and Father Sky
It made sense that the progeny should be too
The sibling must be embraced and be truly loved -- hardly a secret!

I am kind of getting a bit worried about those conical flasks you are keeping the roses in, Tourbi!

Then again roses probably do not care and that is what matters in the end!
