I have had a small piece of this for a little while now and have had a wonderful time working with it.  Just yesterday, I purchased a gorgeous 100 gm reasonably clearish piece and went to bed holding it.  Stupid I know.  It is such a buzzy piece, I don't know how I managed to get to sleep.    But this particular piece got so hot in my hand after a little bit, that I had to put it down.  My hand actually felt as if I'd burnt it.  It (my palm) was very pink and it's not generally.  It still feels rather sensitive several hours later.  I haven't had this experience before.  Has anyone else?  This piece was from North Carolina btw.

As an irrelevant aside...
-fancy trademarking it!

Hi,

Hot potato... because no respected dealer will touch it?

Personally I do not believe in Azeztulite! There is such a marketing hype surrounding it. And fine, some minerals do appear in only one mine but so strange the background of it and then the same owners finding another vein in another mine when it ran out? Divine Intervention for sure!

I was lucky I was able to study a box of specimins, that were delivered very early on, before the preposterous price hype caused by the internet,  and only 2 out of the box had any different vibration to normal quartz, which is about average for quartz anyway depending on their face configuration and markings.

I think that sadly many people read wonderful things about a crystal, save hard to afford a piece and then expect and project feelings onto the specimin when they receive it.

Whole markets have been created by clever advertising and hype online, and this follows on into the retail shops, and shows. Most are outed with time and as non-involved people experience and post about what they find.

I had some tested, it tests just like any simple quartz, the geological societies and data organisations say the same thing too http://www.mindat.org/min-27569.html

This is from Mindat: Name: An unnecessary and unofficial trade name for a nondescript type of white quartz.

WARNING: Traders on ebay have been using the name "Azeztulite" to sell pieces of quartz, and quartz crystals at astonishingly high prices. Do not fall victim to this scam. There is no such mineral as Azeztulite, it is a made-up name for ordinary quartz (the most common mineral on earth).

Hello Gem,

Thanks for your reply.

Agreed, that azeztulite is a highly contentious "quartz" crystal, absolutely and that there are lots of fakes around.  But I do know of a highly respected dealer that sells this as with stones of the highest calibre.  What I love about this dealer is that she refuses to sell anything at an inflated price, because she can.  I often wonder, in fact, how she makes any money at all (*whispers* I don't suspect she does actually)?  LOL  She sees herself as only a transport means to getting these cherished beings to where they aught to be for that moment. I really appreciate that about her. <3

Anywho, I too have had the pleasure of "azeztulite" and have had, at best, an inconsistant high vibration from about a quarter of the ones I have spent time with.  Absolutely, hit or miss (mostly miss).  These pieces are of an exceptionally high vibration, but I can't say that it is any higher than my other cherished friends that are also of an extraodinary vibration. I have a fair few buzzy pieces, that's for sure, but haven't ever had the pink palm sensation before, from any crystal for that matter.  Have you?

I also firmly believe that not everyone will get to experience the vibrations or energy from all crystals etc, in the same way, if at all.  I suspect a fair bit of it lies in where they are in their journey, being empathetic, the intent, and depending on the state of the healing being, not to mention a few other variables etc.  I have a similar relationship with a Lemurian crystal I have.  I get nothing...not a thing from it.  Does that make it disgenuine?  I suspect, it's just not my time.

I guess all this to say, pity that there is an abundance of sham artists out there, but I do believe that one can, if they have an opportunity and possess the ability to be able to commune/attune with the crystal spirit and enjoy a much enhanced spiritual journey as a direct result of all the beauty, joy, assistance and power these crystal beings bring.

Hiya

I think your reply has hit spot on the nose

Sounds like you have found a wonderful dealer too.

I do frequently get the pink palm, some stones especially smoky quartz actually clear after I have held them. I know that I have 'hot hands' lol, and perhaps this has to do with the healing energies I work with too. Do you use reiki at all?

Sometimes this hotness can be a message or channelled energy, sometimes it can signify 'contamination' perhaps negative memories or too much stored static that needs earthing. Have you cleansed the stone under cold running water, and both your hands too and then shaken them dry and then started again to see if that affects the result?

Thanks for the good tip on rinsing the Azeztulite and my hands.  I have done this a few times now and the buzziness is still there, but not the burny-ness, if you know what I mean.   I don't practice reiki other than intuitively, but have just started on my journey to learn more about it, which I am very thrilled about.
