Hello,  
Im new to crystals... but whilst  i was in a crystal shop the other day there was a very kind lady helping me choose a crystal for myself...when she placed a crystals in each of my hands... A strange thing happened my arms wanted to move up and down like a robot...then they became very heavy like they had lead weight on them?

I would love to know what all this meant apart from me having a funny five mins

Welcome to Mystic Board.

You had a interesting experience. it is quite common to get different sensations when holding crystals, some may make your arms feel like lead, some may make them feel hot ot tingly or cold or buzzy, heavy or floaty, so many different feelings.
Personally I would have made sure you put that crystal down and didn't pick it up for a long while until you understood more about their power and energies. It does not sound like it was helping you at all but rather straining and sapping your energy.

Can you tell me anything more about the crystal?

Did you buy any ?

Thanks for your reply...yes i brought  a necklace made with sodalite and the other stone was white with little flicks in it( aventurine/mica?) i also brought stones/braclets for the school teachers.....  ive got children at school.

Hi Rachel, sorry for not replying sooner, do you have any pics? White with flecks sounds intriguing,  White aragonite can be like that, do you know what it is?

I did phone the shop and ask the lady who served me and she said it was
aventurine/mica....but in the crystal bible it looks like muscovite?
