ahh if it is reddish then it is red aventurine, the flashes in aventurine can be mica  but the Crystal Bible is rather limited on its pics and info :(


I can try and post up some pics of my red aventurines tomorrow if that might help?

The stone was white, so perhaps it was aventurine with mica?
Yes i do think maybe the The Crystal bible may be limted with pictures as i couldnt find a picture of this stone in it. I have no idea how im going to remember all these names and spell them

The flecks in aventurine are a form of mica,

You will remember!! just sit with the crystal and bond with it, chant the name over and over under your breath.  Start with a small collection and let it grow from there
