Now I know you are out there and I know that the first step to over coming an addiction is to admiting you have a problem.  

I have too many crystals......and I keep buying more.......and if I could have seled the deal for selling my husband for that selenite tower lamp then I woulda sold him too but they wouldnt take him.....something about him having my name tatooed to his back should mean that I treat him with more diginity, but being swapped for a selenite tower lamp should have made him proud.........no?????

STEP ONE...admit you have a problem....Yes I do I buy too many and I dig for many, I swap for others and I wonder how to steal money from hubbies wallet so I can go out and get my next hit.....I'm also ashamed to say I do hide them around the house too.....In the back of the cupboard, under the bed.  I even stash some in the toilet...Its getting bad.  some times I dont even know where i left them and I'm embarrassed to say that I find out when hubby sticks his big toe through a terminator that I finally remember where i actually hid it.
I also do the switcharoo where hubby comes inside and says is this one new pointing to my charoite slab and I say "Oh no dear I've had that one for ages but I had it at the back of the shelves and it wasnt till now that I swapped it around so it could spend some time at the front of the room"

STEP 2.......Find someone who understands you and can help you through the initial hard withdrawals.......Well I did that and she said come to my place I have no crystals you can relax in comfort wihtout the need of crystals and the lustre and shine.   So i went to her house.   It was horrible, no lights, rainbows, point, colors, no life!   Hmmmmmmm....wrong sponsor chosen....so I say to hubby I'm going to do it on my own.....I can resist no more using the last 8 bucks in my purse that is in ten and twenty cent coins for crystals.  So I'll go out there and buy myself something as a treat and to stop my addictions...

STEP THREE.....Take the last coins in your purse and theres a wonderful item that helps to stop addictions and it is so readily available and natural.  You can take it any time of the day, it comes in all shapes and sizes.  It is truly also a wonderful gift to keep or give to a friend and again stops the need of addictions.   So I went out and bought myself this great new token to mark the end of one of my Major addictions.....A smokey quartz cluster....lol........

To me my stones (and they are not all crystals, most of them one may consider just pebbles that I picked up...stones that called to me), are my children.  Why don't you try and name them?

You are permitted to keep as many as whose names you remember.  

They are also personalities, and with their names you should be able to know and remember their personalities.  

The rest...give them up for adoption (to a good home of course), perhaps as a gift for someone special on a special occasion.....

Hmmmmm...I couldnt name them I have hundereds.......and ...hundereds........It may be an addiction but I love it...lol....I couldnt give them away unless it was to get more.  

Thats why I told hubby that I could buy something to "Cure"  my addiction...he thought it would be a meditation, a different hobby, chewing gum...but when I came back with another crystal he wanted to know what was going on and how I didnt infact buy something to get over my addiction.  I had although because smokey quartz is supposed to help with addictions....lol....So I bought my smokey quartz crystal to overcome my crystal addiction.......so you see I'm not really that serious about giving up just yet.......just running out of exucses of why I only need one more........ for hubbies benefit.....haha

Well, in that case....You may perhaps thinking of making a "Crystal Garden" or "Crystal City"....  Perhaps you could ask hubby to make you a box out of wood say about three metres in length (that would be roughly 3 and a half yards), half a metre wide (roughly 20 inches), and you could fill it with some sand or other suitable filling.  

Then you place your crystals on top, in groups.  Just a warning...it will become a real Powerhouse if you do that....LOL.

The advantage here is that they are all together and all having the same "exposure"...and you know where they all are.  You can also appreciate them all at a glance and their energies will permeate your whole house from this central point.

The display will look beautiful, especially if you place candles in holders at strategic points inbetween or light it from another source just to let them sparkle...and their energies will fill your house and heart..  I find that clusters of crystals seem to be very happy when placed with other clusters that they resonate to, and you could perhaps divide your display tray into sections by placing sea shells or nicely formed drift wood inbetween different areas to partition your different displays.
