Hey Gem you should certainly give Reiki and crystals a go!!.  I lay out grids under my table and for some they bring their own crystals once even had a lady bring her own drums that she would use before and after.

I love using the two together, really very nice.  I find they compliment each other beautifully.  I do find that when scanning with Reiki also that the crystals dont negatively interfere with the persons energy or the Reiki energy and helps to open, speed up, slow down the Chakras.  It really is blending the two healing aspects but they do fit nicely in my experience.

Give it a go one day I would love to know what you think, .......  I think you'll like it.....Wow....

Yes usually in the feel, the energy and the vibrational frequency of the crystal. Some crystals are scarred and hold a ringing tone and can't be used for healing until they themselves have healed.

Which crystals do you use for the chakras? What kind? tumbles, smooth raw?

Heehee, I think you missread my post hun? I teach Crystal reiki and most other forms of reiki and therapies that crystals can be used in  What I am not keen on is people adding crystals in with little or no experience of their uses. I was just nosing and starting convo that's all  xxx
