I was born January 1st, 1989, the year most believe is the year of the snake.

However, I've read numerous charts saying that the year of the snake doesn't start until February 6th, 1989, or on the Chinese New Year.

That would make me a dragon.

So which is it that determines your Chinese Zodiac? Our New Year? Or the Chinese New Year?

Though, I will admit the personality of the snake fits me perfectly.

But if the charts I've read are correct, I would be a dragon.

This is so confusing. T_T

Well u are an Earth Dragon, u have the characteristics of the element Earth & the animal Dragon. Since u were born near to the time of the year of snake u have some characteristics of it too, I was born in year of Pig, but 2 days before the year of Rat, so I have charactersitics of both of them.
