Yes you chart it right except that my charts are colored according to the color of the 5 elements. The darker or heavy color represent Yang energy and the lighter ones for Yin energy.

For convenience I also include the reference H for Heaven Stems and E for Earthly Branch as taught by Master Vincent Koh. This method is very helpful for those to remember the HS / EB combinations and clashes.

In Heaven Stem, the 5-Combi is always plus 5 to the HS and one before and one after is always a HS clash. In Earthly Branch, the 6-Clash is always plus 6 to the EB and the sets of 3-Combinations are in a multiple of 4 ( 12 /3 = 4 )

Try to practice and you will see the deeper picture.
