This section is incorrect.
Quote:

Rat: Thursday
Ox: Saturday
Tiger: Saturday
Rabbit: Friday
Dragon: Tuesday
Snake: Friday
Horse: Wednesday
Sheep: Monday
Monkey: Sunday
Rooster: Saturday
Dog: Friday
Pig: Thursday

There 4 animal represantations for each day:

Sunday : Rat, Rooster, Horse, Rabbit.
Monday : Swallow, Raven, Deer, Fox,.
Tuesday : Pig, Monkey, Snake, Tiger.
Wednesday : Yayu (Mystic Beast), Ape, Earthworm, Leopard.
Thursday :  Unicorn (Chinese version is Single-horn-Ox), Wolf, Bi (Mystic Beast. Tiger-like), Flood Dragon.
Friday : Ox, Dog, Sheep, Dragon.
Saturday : Bat, Pheasant, Water Deer (without antler), Raccoon.

There are deeper meaning and symbolism in the original Chinese signs.  These short cut can introduce misunderstanding.  Hellenistic Zodiac 's names preserve their root from Latin/Greece. Verdic Astrological terms remain in Indian.  Only Chinese Astrology has to water down the symbolism to please the outsider.

Maybe we should start calling Leo as Lion.
