I am absolutely fascinated by the Sri Yantra. I've recently discovered it and it intrigues me. I actually have one as wallpaper on both my computers, I find it has a great soothing effect on me. Here are three interesting links:

I've also seen that music can be actually composed to reflect the geometrical structure.

I received late this afternoon the Sri Yantra CD - I'll listen to it tonight and tomorrow I'll write my first impressions......

That was a totally amazing experience.... I went to bed with the headphones on, and started to meditate on the Sri Yantra. About half way through the first part, I felt my crown chakra open in an unbelievable way. At first it was as if I felt a crown around my head, then I felt the thousand petals lotus open, one petal at a time. By then I was in deep lucid sleep but it felt totally incredible.
After the CD had finished I has a strong rush of energy in all my chakras, especially the heart chakras and my arms and hands and it lasted a long while.
I also felt my soul expanding as if it was preparing for an out-of-body, with a very strong web-like tingling all over my face.
Stephen Kammerhofer in his "A very very short guide to Lucid Dreaming" he speaks about this very feeling:

As there was a windstorm going on at the time, I did wipe it off and turned on one side, even so, the feeling persisted for a while. Next time I am going to go through with it.....
