The Capricorn father is not as good a parent as a Capricorn mother. The Capricorn father is a perfectionist as far as a child’s improvement is concerned but he himself refrains from going into the details of the welfare of the child. The father of this zodiac sign is too exacting and severe. He judges children by their adult standards and is often too harsh if they fail to bring instant success in their endeavours.

Relaxation and pleasure has little role in his own programme and he does not believe in giving his child the same space. As a result, the children fear their Capricorn father and forfeit the love of their children.

Interesting. my Gemini husband's father was a 24th Dec. Capricorn and a hard taskmaster. Unyeilding in accepting that his son made it big in the music business always wanting him to be a doctor, like himself, he has put a terrible conflict within him, causing alcoholism and many deep-seated problems, even over 20 years after the father's death. I do not thing Capricorn's were meant to be parents at all.

You are obviously talking subjectively from your own personal experience, but I find it veyr illuminating when people unbeknowingly 'speak' their charts. The Capricorn perfectionist is a Virgoan trait and it's extremely common to have Cancer, Virgo and Leo on the Ascendant. Think of 24hours in a day and 12 sun signs you may think logically that each sun sign has 2hours rising -- but in the northern hemisphere there are signs of long ascension and short ascensionand these 3 get 4 to 4.5hours each whereas Aquarius and Pisces get 30 to 40 minutes.

You need to understand there is far far more to astrology than just ‘sun signs’ firstly there are 10planets in the sky and 12houses and any one of these 10planets can be in any one of these 12 houses – so there’s 144 possible combinations there –

What is vitally important is your ‘time of birth’ and nearest town and then go to free website like astro.com to calculate your natal chart, you may have to reduce the image in Extended chart selection to 63% save to your hard drive, then upload here.

Secondly you need to understand --  When a sun sign is conjunct a heavyweight planet from Saturn onwards, ie: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, that sun person automatically becomes and honorary Saturian, Uranian, Neptunian and Plutonian cos the contact with very strong. Now obviously, you won’t know this until you get your free chart calculated from www.astro.com or many others astrologyweekly.com
